If you would like to support GeoVUsie and ensure that GeoVUsie can continue to organize fun and educational activities, you can donate a small amount here. As the board, we are responsible for building and maintaining good contacts with companies, lecturers, researchers at the VU, other student associations, alumni, and of course with our own students. In addition, we handle the purchase and sale of textbooks and materials. We also arrange opportunities for graduation and PhD parties. We do not do this alone, but with the help of our 20 committees. Together with us, they organize various activities throughout the year.
Over the past few years, we have persevered! For instance, the Tripcie organized a wonderful weekend in Ghent. We visited various companies there and learned all the ins and outs of the city. In April and October, trips abroad were organized with various themes. In addition to these very fun major activities, we have had countless smaller activities, including lectures, company visits, game nights, and sports activities.
For instance, we will soon have a company visit, where we will look at various aspects within a company. Through various assignments and presentations, the company will explain its operations to us. All in all, this promises to be an interesting and educational day, which makes our association a bit more unique. These kinds of experiences are made possible in part by our donors.
